I am a big fan of BEM, and when Chris posted this cue for sale I was pretty
sure 8-Ball Rat was gonna snap it up and I would again miss the chance to own this cue.

Luckily Mark decided to order a different cue and posted about this, so I was free to snap it up!
This cue has the finest piece of Birds-Eye I have ever seen bar none.
The cue has a Purpleheart handle and core.

I can't wait to have the cue in my hands, so lets look at the pictures some more and count the eyes:

Chris Byrne, I'd wait until I found a figured piece of wood before doing that style cue again. What a plain, boring cue...

Nice cue for sure.

Yeah I keep buying these boring old maple cues, guess I'm a boring guy! Lol.
I hope that quilted maple cue you guys are making me will come out great too.

Gorgeous....just gorgeous.

The flat-faced joint was the only thing that kept me from pulling the trigger on that one....so Mr. Byrne and I had a conversation about him making me one with the 8-BR (piloted steel) joint on it.

The BIG bonus is...my cue will be made from the same block of wood that yours came from!!!

Congrats on a STELLAR cue purchase, sir. The BEM figure is the best I've ever seen....and I'm hoping mine will come out exactly the same.

Have fun with it!!!

CB BEM Cue

Congrats on picking up a SWEET looking cue!! I'm anxiously awaiting my wrapless Chris Bryne cue. Let us know how it plays.

Bryne makes some badass cues. This would be one of them. I think this is the most figured BEM I've ever seen.

Not that's what I call a BEM cue. That is like Birdseye on top of Birdseye. I have several Chis Byrne cues, you wont be disappointed with his work. Chris is a perfectionist about every step in cue building, especially his eye for great wood quality, the finish, and he takes his time with every cue. I also like his shaft work. I even have some other cues that he made shafts for, and they play better with Chris's shafts than the originals.

Man, with that so many eyes looking at me when I shoot, I don't think I can take the shot. ;)

Great looking BEM. Congrats!!!

Chris Byrne covers both playability, and execution on his cues :bow-down: .....Dave this cue looks much better in your hands... :yeah:

Great looking bem! Heard from Chris my cue would be from the same block of bem. Let's hope it would look as well. :D

Yep. Mark got just got the last piece of the 3 that I had from that billet. I still have some other great pieces but just not quite that figured. It was a real pleasure making that cue. I just could not get over how great that wood looked. Chris.
