Birthday Present - First Custom Cue Experience

In Use

Well, I could spend the past couple of days with intense practicing - I am in great need of this as my final exams (and the nearly 3 months spent with studying) destroyed my game pretty much...

Anyways, yesterday my girlfriend came with me and took a couple of photos of the cue in use.

Here are a couple, I hope you like them :)

Yeah, you may not let her hit anymore balls with it when she drops her stroke a little and drags the forearm up against that cube of chalk and scuffs the hell out of it. My stroke is about as flat as they come, I got down one time, many years ago, not looking at the rail, and stroked right over the damn chalk and it really did a job on my cue. Put a big scrape on the steel joint and left a line down the finish. You better tell her to be careful. hehe!!

Thanks for the hint, I'll keep that in mind. Anyways, I was holding my breath while she shot with it, but damn... the cue is OK as it seems :ignore:

Hearing what happened to your cue is sad, I guess that won't happen ever again. It's amazing how much damage can a $1 chalk do for a $1,000 cue...

Anyways, I am trying to get used to it (the cue...) so I mostly just putting up the balls and just shooting them at a random order. As of yet I managed to pocket 54 in a row without missing a shot on a tight pocket Gold Crown III. I have to push hard to get ready for straight pool.
