bk 2 tip?

It's a phenolic tip with a carbon fiber backing.
They are available from predator repair people.

I would assume no....
You can send your shaft to any authorized repair center though

I thought KJ or RAT (or both) were authorized Predator repair shops.

Someone on here is.

My 2 cents,

Gary

Darcy,

Sorry, I misread his statement - he still wants to buy one - not have an authorized cuesmith install it.

My bad :embarrassed2:

Gary

Lol.
That's what I'm thinking too.
The carbon fiber is pretty thick on those loose tips.
I work a tournament with a predator repair center and put a few on.
You definately need a lathe to put them on :)

I have plenty of great cue builders around me who have put many tips on for me .I'm only trying to save the down time. So if anyone has a a tip they would sell I will buy a couple thanks to everyone for the insight

Kerry
You should call one I them up and see if they have access to the tip.
If all else fails, your builder can make one out of phenolic rod or put in a samsara or madman leather break tip.

I have split 2 samsaras down to the last layer in a 3 week time period and because the original tip lasted 3 years is why I would like another one

As in agreement with Predator we the repair centers are not to sell or give away these tips or ferrules.
If you would like to send the shaft to a Predator repair center I or they can put one on for you.
If not you can have your repairman put on an alternate tip of your choice.
If the tip has not come off you should keep the pad on. Face it off and install your tip to the pad.

We are but we're not authorized to sell Predator's proprietary parts to the public.
That goes for Predator ferrules also.
The tips are basically sheet phenolic laminated to a proprietary backing.
They're square when we get them. Without the right tip, you risk losing your warranty.
This begs the question: What's more important to you, a few days down-time or your warranty?
Please check the Predator website to find the Predator Repair Station nearest you.

KJ

I was under the impression if the pad was removed the warranty on shaft would be voided. Can anyone tell me if there is any truth to this?
