BK shaft and ferrule

Does anyone know how the Predator BK ferrule and shaft are constructed, are they hollow like the 314 ?

Yes, all contemporary Predator shafts are constructed using the same design.

Thanks for the info. I was asked to replace a ferrule on one, not surprised it cracked if they are that thin walled.

The ferrule mtrl. used on the BK shafts is different from the 314-2 & Z-2.
I believe it's linen based IIRC. I don't get too many of those in for repair.

I believe it is Aegis II on the BK2. The 314-2 and z-2 are MaxLite
