Why you wanna go and piss in my kool aid after I just tell you a story about a REALLY bad experience.

This thread was not a question, it was sharing an experience. A very bad one, with my e-friends here at AZ.

Sounds a bit dramatic. Your shaft broke. I get it.

You misunderstood my post. I'm glad you posted your experience, description, and pictures here. I meant that after 5 pages you still hadn't contacted Predator? Afterwards you finally did, as seen here:

*edit* p.s. I spoke with the guys a Pred today, recommended I ship the shaft to them for further inspection. I'll let you know what happens.

I think they should warranty it, unless they have reason to believe it happened away from a pool table. A break shaft should be able to stand up to a hard break and if not, at least it should be a warranty issue.

Indeed. But, I doubt that is what did it.

They said to mail them the shaft. Now I have to wait and see if they cover it. Guy on the phone gave me no indication whether they would cover it or not, said it needed to be inspected. I e-mail him pics too, he said nothing.

As soon as I know one way or the other, I will definetely update this thread.

Sounds like you were doing a Mike Siegel break impression by bending the shaft on the bed of the table during your follow-through. This puts tremendous pressure on the joint . . .

I recently broke a shaft breaking that way. Wasn't even my cue!:banghead: Needless to say, I don't break like that any more.
