Black and Orange Linen

I want to re-wrap my predator break cue, keeping the linen, but so many people have a bk2, i want a way to distinguish mine.

I was looking for a black linen wrap with orange speckles. I looked at all the websites i know, but couldnt find any.

Last resort would be black and yellow from prather.

Any ideas where i can get some
 
Dont want to much up your thread, but I was wondering the same about White/Orange.

When Atlas discontinued it, I bought it all. 45.00 for a full role plus shipping. It's like a russet orange.
 
I think the wrap Mike is referring to is shown in the picture below. I didn't have a picture of the complete cue on my website for some reason, but this one gives you an idea of the color. I got this wrap from Mike. I know he had a bunch of spools of it. If he's thinking of another color, I'm sure he'll let me know.

this was just another good excuse for you to show off another badass cue...Nice
 
I've never tried it.....

but, if it's a one-time deal, I might run off a cue's worth of black with white speckles and try to dye it orange.

Just a thought;)

I just wanted to offer an option. I wouldn't want to buy a full spool of linen, wrap one cue and have the rest of it sit on the shelf for eternity;)

BTW, in my case, I've got a lot more time than I've got money ;-)

I was going to suggest the same thing - after all, the linen, didn't grow up orange and the black shouldn't be affected. But then I thought it'd get all "fluffed out" from getting wetted by the dye. Not sure if pressing it would restore it to the same texture as coming off the reel or not.

Hi Bill, I would never slam, just funin, didn't you see the smiley face. I can't be serious all the time, it's not healthy. I just meant, if you make or repair cues, It's nothing to stock an extra color. Very short investment and paid for quickly. I really didn't care if I sold these rolls, figure I'm gonna live for a few more years, their in a box on the shelf, out of the way but seeing the original poster specified the color and I know I bought the last of it, just trying to help.

I'll go thru the box tomorrow, I think I have one roll of it, Pretty ugly to, if I remember correctly. It was part of a discontinued list I did with Atlas a few years back. I have some strange colors.

For you and Bill, Myself having a textile background, proper dying is quite the process, It is dyed before they are wound together. If you pull a piece of linen apart, you can see how many strands of each color it took to give the final product. Maybe leather dye would work.
 
Just a side note, I ship UPS, You have to sign for it and I will send you a tracking number when I ship. It protects you and me,

Sorry for the misunderstanding Mike! I was just trying to help as well.

I did see the smiley face, but I was still afraid you may have thought I was trying to kill your sale and you were upset with me. I'm glad that wasn't the case:thumbup:

Thanks Bill, I never care about selling supplies, it's not something I do as the norm, once it's bought and stocked, I don't think about it anymore.
