On ebay right now is a listing for a Black Boar cue made pre-'91 for buy it now of $2600.....Wow!

There's also a TS cue that's gorgeous with 4 shafts for $2600 but the shafts are very thin which is impeding the sale.
This cue has been relisted more than once and the price started in the 3k range and is now down to $2600.

The seller of the TS cue also has a RB Alamo cue that I want badly but mine would need an ivory joint which this one doesn't.
Nonetheless, it's still a RB Alamo but the butt cap looks cracked and pieced together. The RB Alamo cue on Cornerstone Cues
has a perfect butt cap. If you compare the two photos, you'll see the Alamo cue on ebay has some issues with its butt sleeve inlays.
The Alamo cue has been listed four times and has never sold. The auctions started at around $3700 and the seller is at $2800
or best offer which tells you he's ready to deal.

eBay question

Here is what I asked this bb seller on eBay. Let's see what he has to say.
Is this a AS3 from 1988 - 1992 also black boar made 400 4point cues from 88 - 92... & how do you know both shafts are boar shafts? Are you the original owner. You said this is 1 of 84 made this is the wrong information ... And not very rare. The rare ones are the ones with no verneers which is less then 2dozen of the 4 point cues he made he made 400 of... Just giving you some information and had a few questions. All the best Dom

I haven't any interest in any of these auctions. I'm committed to a custom build that should be coming into the home stretch.
So basically I'm off the market, except in case something extraordinary should happen to come along while I'm waiting.
