What is a Black Diamond Tip exactly? Leather or phenolic? I see that the Pechauer Break Cues are using them now. Any reviews on them or the Pechauer Break Cue?
Thanks.

Well, for its money, the pechauer break is a very good break cue. I have made breaks with the Predator BK2 and the Mezz Power Break Pro as well. These last two seemed a bit better to me(by only a small margin, nothing dramatic) but they are a bit more expensive. I like the shaft of the pechauer a lot by the way. It seems rather stiff.

I don't know about the tip, I put a white diamond on my pechauer right away. It breaks awesome overall.

Just received the Pechauer Break Cue with the Black Diamond Tip. It's a tad harder than the Samsara Tip. I believe it's leather, not sure. Good control though. I really like the Pechauer Break Cue a lot. For me it wasn't difficult getting used to the forward weight of the cue. When I break I notice that my follow through is up like Strickland and with this breaker I can keep my follow through down like Sigel does. It really pops the rack.
Wonder why you don't hear more positive reviews on this cue? It's really an excellent break cue!

Pechauer stopped putting the Black Diamond Tips on their break cues. A real drag because those tips were awesome. The tips they ship with now are pretty soft IMO. All I know is that my break is down 1.5 mph with the new tip.
