It is a shame that my $13000 MSRP 3-cushion billiard table ( Verhooven Paramount) is a work bench 90% of the time. Thankfully the plywood work bench conversion protects it.

I'm sure alot of us have used our pool table as a work bench from time to time, i could'nt hang with the 90% tho. I had a bunch of stuff on mine for a week once, and it drove me crazy because, i'm used to hitting balls on it daily. I think it took me another week to get back in stroke afterwards too:o
 
They generally turn into storage space underneath and a laundry table for the wife on top.

At that point, people almost pay you to come over and remove them.
Thats how it works where I live. Wish I had the space.
Shop, pool table, shop, pool table? Whats a guy to do?

That works for me, but I live in Michigan not Florida.
Ps: I cleared the table last night and played for 4 hours with my friend
