A little history...Ride The 9 was owned by Sarah Rousey's father for many years. During that time it was a great players' room. Subsequent owners have gone further and further away from catering to the players, and obviously now apparently don't care much at all.

When I moved to the area in 1990 it was well established lol, It was a super nice place with a huge following with strong players but in the last couple of years a rude and lazy staff drove some players away and just this year charging a buck a game pushed the better players away. They are renting the 9fters hourly at 10$ double the cost from 6months ago. Most of the locals are driving to Clinton (breakers) they have 9 7ft diamonds, 1 7ft valley, 1 9ft diamond, 1 9ft gold crown all 5$ per hr per table or 50cents a game. Klatt and Sarah have played on the Monday tourney but it's pretty much dead between the players boycotting and klatt killing the field lol, ride the nine is still the best place to play if your looking for table time, the ISU college billiard center is nice and cheap but the kids playin lately are not that strong. The best place to get action currently would be Racks on the rocks in Peoria (formally known as Daves good times) which you will probably run into Bobby McGrapth jr almost any weekend.
