Anyone have any experience with these? I’m assuming they are made in China. I have the chance to pick a set up for cheap, but I’m guessing they might be cheap for a reason…..

Well, I notice that they are not Blue DIAMOND as you say in the title. They are Blue Diamono. Kinda like the Predaioar or whatever cue brand.
Ha ha, can’t believe I didn’t spot that! 🤣

Thanks for the replies, I thought they might be trash!

So what are considered the best balls available now? I’ve been out of the game for a few years.

I've seen sets like these for sale and the sellers have admitted that the quality isn't there. Better to pay more for Dynaspheres.
Still a few sets out there of Dyna Bronze's for less than 150bux. The new version is the Vanadium for around 250ish. Tungsten is even less but they are butt-ugly to say the least.

Aramith and Dynasphere's are the only balls to buy. Brunswick Centennials and the Predator Arcos are both aramith made balls.

Not heard of Dynasphere before, seen a couple of sets but they are a bit pricey.

Seen a set of these Brunswicks for a decent price, I guess these would be better than the Blue Diamono!

Really, they are being advertised as Brunswick Heritage balls?
Brunswick is now selling a "Heritage" model like that. Those look to be relatively low-end cast phenolic balls. They should play OK. That set looks used. $100 is a fair price, assuming no nicks.

You can get the Vanadium from Kozoom in France for $160 USD each (no taxes what so ever, there are no current Dynaspheres USA retailers):

The only trick is that you must spend ~$216 on your order to get free shipping to USA (https://help.kozoom.com/help/modes-of-delivery). I did a group buy for their Rhodium cue balls and sold most of them to friends and AZ Billiards members. Find a friend that wants nice ball set also or a group of friends that want some nice cue balls. I really like the Dyhaspheres over Aramith because of their price to quality ratio and their consistent Phenolic Resin formula (with a hardness of ≥ 59 Rockwell) throughout their billiard ball line.

Garczar gave you the best advice on buying a brand-new set of Dynaspheres for under $150. Unlike Aramith, Dynasphere's quality is the same across its line. I'm not sure what you were planning to spend on the Diamonos, but the Dynasphere Bronze, if you can find them, or the silver on Amazon, are the best value balls currently for sale.

Reading this thread surprised me. I would not have assumed there were that many sets of crap balls out there. or that people can make a profit cheating people on balls.
I assumed this because i would think the same set would be used for a long time, as in not a frequent purchase.

Edit i should take some pics of the set from my old hang out that closed down. when they closed they told the regulars to take whatever they want. was regular only party the last day.
Theres a lot of experts on here. I'd be curious to see what quality we all played with back then.
