Blue Diamond Chalk Is Ready!

Compared by who? I have compared the two myself and I can tell you it is a much better chalk. I used Master chalk for over 20 years and recently switched to Blue Diamond. I bought two cases (100 pieces) of the chalk and everyone who has tried it wants more.

The cost isn't really very high as long as you remember to get your chalk after the end of the night. Do yourself a favor and buy a couple of pieces and see if it works better for you.

Better How???

It increased spin by an average of 37.73% as related to the next best chalk. They wanted to market it with Predator, but Predator is actually working on their own chalk, called "Velcro" that will produce 73.37% more spin as related to Master.

I play fine with Master or Triangle. Silver Cup is like blue dust. National Tourney is good as long as your climate is dry.

I have yet to use a chalk that was "performance enhancing".

So how much longer does a cube of this stuff last compared to other leading brands? For $3.50 a cube, it better last "A lot" longer!:)

As for the chalk possibly providing extra spin, I don't consider that a positive aspect.

i also wanted to let everyone know that if my pms back sound a bit cold and inpersonal i apologize, im just trying to get through them all and reply back quickly to everyone. i do really appreciate the business i do with everyone here on AZ - Tony

thanks buddy, and cold PM's are cool, your a cool guy :D find me when your in Vegas.

chalk is a feel thing, i find i miscue less, feel like i get better grip on the cue ball, and it seems like it lasts longer. i am not a scientist, so i have not done any scientific tests. i feel more confident and i am less worried about miscues when i use this chalk and that is worth well over $7 to me.

its just an opinion, but i look at it this way- if i miscue one less time each month that i play, and i go throgh two cubes of chalk each month (because i am constantly leaving it all over), then i am spending $84 a year to have 12 less miscues which could be the difference of hundreds if not a few thousand dollars over the course of a year in tournament payouts and gambling winning/losings.
so with that i mind i say this- spend $7 to try it for yourself, if you dont feel the same way what did it cost you? but i bet most of you that try it will be promoting the chalk for me the next time it comes in. - Tony

anything that Costs $3.50 less than a gallon of gas that lasts a month shouldnt be questioned,

It stays on my tip better, providing better coverage even if the tip is smooth. I miscue much less, in fact since I have been using the chalk I haven't miscued in a match.

I am also not a scientist, but it is easy to tell when something is better for you.

If you think it might last long enough to make it cheaper than other brands, it won't. I am not even sure it lasts longer than other chalk, but who cares? If it works better, provides less miscues, transfers more english it is worth it to me.

The entire reason for chalk is to help with the contact between the tip and the cue ball. If you are hitting anywhere other then the center of the cue ball it is going to transfer spin to the cue ball. The more spin it transfers the better the chalk helps with the contact.

If a chalk provides more spin then you don't have to hit as far out from center and it will cause you to miscue far less. I have found I can hit to the extreme edges of the cue ball and still not miscue with this chalk.

Qualify it. Then I'll believe it.

Master has yet to let me down. At that significant a price difference, I'll stick with it. No need to invest the extra money.

Qualify what? I play better with this chalk then I do with Master, there is nothing to qualify.

I don't know if you will play better or worse and frankly if you don't want to spend $7 to find out if you like the chalk that is fine with me.

People pay $25 or more for a tip, you can find tips for $.50 does this mean that anyone who buys expensive layered tips have to qualify why they like these tips better? Other people pay thousands of dollars for cues when they could play with a house cue or a $50 sneaky.

If you don't want to try the chalk that is up to you, I was just stating my opinion on the chalk.

just wanted to let everybody know i will be shipping the first batch out on friday, if you want your items shipped out on friday please be confirmed and paid by noon on friday
thanks again

A anorher questions, which is true for all chalk vendors

"Why the hell" everbody put this shitty scrape at the cube:confused:

Every pool player is sick abut this scrape it avoid a smooth chalking

things like this are part of the reason why pool is suffering, when people have the are sweating small pocket change for chalk why would Corporate invest $$$ into events when their potential customers are sweating the price of chalk. What about the powder? is that too much also? pool needs sponsers and the sponsers have to make a profit on the advertizing that events create, young kids seeing a champion win big prize money will stimulate more people to become players and some blessed ones will make it to the top, the rest will support the pool rooms, smaller turnments. It all feeds on itself. But when the big corporations see the customer base and how they think and what they would buy they get turned off. Its nothing to try something you use on every shot for less than $5-it dosent get any better. Golf players buy everything they can to improve their game. Sure I'll get accused of saying this cause i'm holding pretty good now, but you know what when I was busted 10 years ago, i still wasnt cheap.

I'm not knocking anyone here personally, i'm refering to every thread Tony makes when he gets a load of chalk in, its the same old thing....it costs that much!?!, its $3.50 BFD buy it try it if you dont like it give it away and make a friend. I have gave alot of mine away. The questions should be about the product not the price of it, now if it was $50 then yeah there would be a case to complain, but $3.50???

Great Post Eric!
I tried the Blue Diamond Chalk and that is all I use. I love the fact that it helps me mentally know that I mis-cue less so I am more confident in my stroke. I am one of those who does use a pocket chalker so the opponents may not even be aware I am using something other than house chalk.

Thanks again and I will continue to support Blue Diamond and Tony.
My order more than likely shipped today.
Myron
