Bluegrass, Kikel, Howard 3 Day "NO RESERVE FRENZY"

Nice cues Matt. I like that Kikel. I am not sure if you can edit the description but it says Bluegrass for the brand. Of course below it says Kikel in the expanded description. Regardless very nice listings. I am going to put my bid in now !

Listings have been ammended .

The joint on the Howard and the Hoppe ring are Ivory.

If this cue does not get to $2k, then there has been some shill bidding on the Plain Janes that went for nearly $2.5K. This is an absolutely gorgeous cue that is easily worth $2.5K.

Cue was mint with recuts . Over $2800 from Richard new , which is basiclly what this cue is . Definately a loss at $1525:confused::eek:

This auction truely shows where the cue market really is with no BS.

I think it shows that cues from respected makers are only worth about 50 to 60% of whatever they cost new if your looking for a cash sale these days. Any body else have any thoughts on this?

The cue had an actual cash value exceeding the $1,525 it brought at auction. It simply speaks to the fact that people are scared to spend cash unless it is something desperately desired and wanted or it is a fire sale price. I am sitting on items that I would have sold by now but refuse to give them up at the current market pricing. I'm currently buying and holding but not selling.

I concur 100% with the last few points made in this thread. Tough market for resale, that's for sure.

It's a shame the cue brought only 1525.00, and it was tough for me not to bid the cue....I figured it would bring 1800.00 to 2000.00 on the level. This is a perfect example of why I prefer doing trades only in these tough times....

No Payment recieved for the Howard or the Bluegrass. I clearly stated the payment was due within 24 hours of auction end. I really won't be disappointed if the winner doesnt pay for the Bluegrass.
