I need a little help...

Here's what I think is a Blue Grass sneaky that a buddy of mine owns. We couldn't figure out who made the cue until we removed the bumper. There is a finish, and underneath it is written, Blue Grass Cue. Any info on age, value, other similar cues, etc. will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

bluegrass

If it is witch it seems to be, Richard Harris made it. It looks like a conversion be as he makes halfsplice cues. great cues high $. I think there s a 5 year wait to have one made. Good guy to, I play in his room.
google bluegrass cues and just read WHAT HE DOES TO HIS SHAFTS. It has a 3/8-11 pin.Butt cap also looks the same as every Harris Ive seen.

It does appear to be a Blue Grass cue. Here is one I have to compare it to. Does this one have the horse logo on the butt? Measure the brass pin, it should be 1 1/8" long

It is an older Bluegrass sneaky, Mike. Price can vary a lot, depending on condition, size of shaft at tip, straightness, even-ness of points. It would be better if you posted a pic of the whole cue fo dating it. I have seen them go for $475-750, depending on condition.
