OK, I know he used to work for Timmy Scruggs, but are they REALLY the same cue? Whats the same, and what are the honest differences? I've had a Frey s/p and liked the play of it, but still ended up selling it. Do they REALLY use the same woods? Do either of em' make their own s/p blanks? I've seen a few Scruggs cues made from other blanks on here, but I wanna know what makes his cues different than someone else's. Yes, I honestly don't know! What has he done that makes his cues more valuable on the secondary market than someone else's? The ones I've had or seen, the construction looks very similar to something else, but what separates "the men from the boys" so to speak? I'm NOT bashing Tim by this thread, this is an honest question...Somebody has to be able to tell me!! If they are the same in fact, then why are Bob's cues waaaay less in price?
