Walter Glass told me he and Bob were good friends and both were vegetarians. So there is hope for any of you vegan pool players out there. Both were / are very solid players.

Bob was in California in the late 60's / early 70's and played a little at Five Points Bowl and the Billiard Palace in Bellflower. He matched up and beat some top players in nine ball, and I believe he played in the pay ball games in Bellflower that were full of champions. I had a Tad cue that was supposed to have been made for him that I sold to my friend Frank The Barber to give to his son. Wish I had that cue today.

Walter Glass was around the Golden Cue in the late 70's / early 80's and he told me he and Bob were good friends and both were vegetarians. So there is hope for any of you vegan pool players out there. Both were / are very solid players. John Henderson

Walter Glass passed through New Orleans recently, but was not letting any grass grow under his feet and did not stay long.

It may be out of print now but Accustats had a match with Bob Ogburn playing Jersey Red a One Pocket. The tape is the Legends of One Pocket-Philidadelphia Style. I would guess its from the early 90's.

I could be wrong but it seems like this is the only tape of Jersey Red and I'm not aware of another with Bob Ogburn in it.

The match is two tapes long and even though Jersey Red had seen better days, it's pretty cool to be able to watch him play.

I have this tape packed away somewhere. Bob is a great guy and so was Jersey Red.

Neither of them played well in the match, but Jersey finally won the case game.
