This is odd...

In Italy they play some odd games... And for some reason they change the table and balls to be used on a professional level often for unknown reasons so the pool rooms have to change tables with the changes...

What ya think?

Your first link you notice the tiny pockets on the table. I played that game in Italy I beat one of their top local players. They don't really try to shoot the balls in they play like golf and edge the balls close before trying to make it. Mean time I am just shooting them in and running balls because I don't know any better. This was a gambling house near Venice where we were staying. We were renting upstairs.

It was like a Mafia place there were guys with small cases of money betting at cards and some on the pool table. They were playing a form on 8 ball. It was funny, my wife was with me and I don't think a woman ever come in the place. They treated her very nice though and I can speak a small amount of italian as I am a first generation American so we got along. I was playing for like 50,000 a game but of course that was Lira. It was a lot of fun and we didn't even get killed.

The game they are playing in the video is kind of a Bocce ball kind of game. I played a similar game in Denmak with the pins on a 6 x 12 snooker table. You had to pocket balls, make billiards and knock down pins. Amazingly I beat them at their own game as they were explaining to me how to play as we were playing. One guy acted as my coach. I won so much money on that trip, mostly in Germany I had trouble getting it back in the US.
