Bondo vs Wax

Bondo vs Wax vs Rock Hard Puddy

I have been doing tables since 1990 have use wax, bondo and Rock Hard Puddy . I recommend using rock hard puddy. Bondo is very hard to work with due to set time and it is very hard to remove. Usually you put to much or not enough and you will be sanding to remove and level . Wax does not have the strength and it swells and contracts wont hold a good seam . I use and recommend rock hard puddy it does not shrink and drys rock hard as its name . It is easy to remove when moving table or when need to work on slates. I also put 3 tabs of thin strip of card bord between the slates and us Joint Slate Glue it like crazy glue it stop the slates from moving or breaking there seam when the wood screws release after time. If you have any questions please pm me . Hope this helps when returning to move tables using this method using Rock Hard Puddy and Glue slates together there is no breakage of the seams and it is as One piece of slate.
