Ok, now you guys are really going to laugh at me so here's your chance. Remember me saying that my incert came out and stayed on the butt. Well now it's glued to the butt and I can't get it off. For over 24 hrs it doesnt cure in the nice tight dark hole and in 3 hrs it dries on the butt. This is my really good preditor cue that I shoot with. Any ideas how I get if off. Can I heat with a torch! Will it bubble the finish? Or should I just soak in paint thinner or something. It's a stainless steel joint and pin.

I read the one earlier and thought I'd heard it all and now this one. I'm just too damn old to keep falling out of my chair like this. This is so wrong on so many levels that I wouldn't know where to begin so let me just ask this : Bubs, have you ever considered another hobby, say sky diving ? I hear they'll let you pack your own chute. Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Do you believe there's no cover charge here ?

Shoemaker's hammer does a nice job.:)
Anywhere to get this thing done.

P.S./ Put a small piece of masking tape over the insert end to prevent your adhesive of choice from entering the id threads.

Are you talking about the back side of the insert?

Yes! Am I to assume that this is common with this type of incert.

Just from what I've seen based on repairs because I would never use it in one of my cues, Install it into phenolic. Huge can of worms.
HUGE
