Bonus Ball Match #7 today (Monday)

Yesterday saw two of the top seeded teams eliminated from competition as the Atlanta Scorpions (Johnny Archer, Shannon Daulton, Dennis Hatch) beat the Phoenix Fire (Scott Frost, Tommy Kennedy, Manny Chau), and the Pittsburgh Poison ((Shawn Putnam, Adam Smith, Sylver Ochoa) beat the Chicago Rockets (Rodney Morris, Mika Immonen, Raj Hundal).

Today's match will see the Las Vegas Dice (John Schmidt, Max Eberle, Charlie Williams) in their second appearance of the playoffs as they take on the New York Pride (Earl Strickland, Larry Nevel, Warren Kiamko).

It's interesting to note that none of the home teams (white jerseys) have won thus far. Today, we'll see if the "underdogs" continue to prevail.

Hell no, these guys want to win so bad it is unreal. Some good money at stake here. The NY Pride beat the Las Vegas Dice 11-0 last night and played great. I went to dinner with Earl after and he loves the game along with the shot clock. You have to be a great all around player to perform at this game at a high level, not all players are cut out for it.

Nothing is perfect and I agree I was fed up at different points with how things happened but we are all sticking with it to see where it goes. You missed out on some really good matches.

Business without cash does not have a chance at a professional league without fans. Sounds like the game has nothing to do with the toilet predictions. Chibby has done a wonderful job raising some cash to get a mini season and mini play-offs done. Where does this leave the WPBL for the future.

This would be his pitch to his investors...."It's true we spent over a million and have barely any income to show for it, but let's dig deeper and keep funding the WPBL money pit!! I can see 100,000 amateurs playing six pocket Bonus Ball filling our pockets full of $$$$! We eed to keep the pros playing to get the amateurs to sign up!"

Sometime soon, they will say ok stupid, your business sense is insane and his future is joining KT and Badi as wannabe promoters with no real chance of success based on their lack of vision and business plan.
