True story:
William “Billie” Bott and his brother, Joseph, were well known in Columbus, Ohio, as proprietors of the city's most prosperous saloon and liquor dealership, as well as the largest and most elegant billiard parlor. [ The Bott Brother's Mfg Co. also produced a line of billiard tables and bar furnishings.]

But then Billie found himself “behind the eight ball” at the center of a well publicized sex scandal. It was a soap opera with twist that supplied a fortunate ending for the Botts.

They put the Bott Brothers Billiards stained glass sign in the window of the Clock restaurant at 161 N High Street, Columbus Ohio sometime before the late 1960s when I started going there.
There was a billiard parlor on the second floor, it was pretty seedy by that time.

I have a postcard with a picture of Bott Brothers front that I just recently purchased.
