Borana's movie opening

Listen, through all the irritation, it is nice to be able to smile a bit. Thanks, for that.
Jim

If I caused you any irritation (which I'm sure I did), I do apologize. I hope no one here thinks my reservations were caused by any mistrust of you or your site - it's purely the internet connection and it's impossibility of being protected across all the lines between your server and my computer.

That's what stopped me from ordering the stream. When there's a secure way to pay for access, I'll do so. I also suggest getting those links in order.

I work with stuff like this all day, and I don't care if it causes irritation. Things can get pulled off encrypted sites, never mind just an open connection. If you can't do the internet stuff, paypal or mail will work well. If you get hit with fraudulent orders, trust me, you're going to suffer, not the buyer.

Yes

I'm with Johnny on this one. Can I buy the DVD the old fashioned way? Send a check for $11.99? If so, just post where to mail the check & who to make it out to. If not, I'll live without it...I just don't trust paypal & won't give a card number on the net.

PayPal is set up now, but if you don't trust the internet at all
and you want to send a check for anything, you can send it to:

Fist, Inc.
20 Jay St. Ste. 212
Brooklyn, NY 11201
917-696-0098

We'll be very happy to do it that way.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim, I clicked the PayPal button, but nothing happened. The page still asks for credit card info. Again, it needs to be secure (https).

OK, I changed the paypal so when you push the paypal button and push next, it goes to the paypal site.

just bought/watched the rental movie. :) it's a fun little flick; perhaps better marketed towards women, but still fun. definitely has that indie-foreign feel to it. i'd like to see Nes' reception after the transformation though; unless that's the point of this episode to get viewers curious about the next scene...

Thanks a lot. I think the film also shows what NYC pool scene is like, especially at Masters billiards.
We will see if there will be a next scene.

A few additions

Our prize list is growing. When you go onto www.go4pool.com, you can see the prize list for the November 15th drawing. If anyone wants to donate a prize for the drawing, please email me at go4pool@gmail.com. You will get a small write-up and a link to your website. This movie is getting a lot of attention so it is definitely worth the product you put up for a prize. There is no value limit on the prizes.

Thanks,
Jim

ChazL...As long as you're pointing out grammar errors...you must have meant surely, as opposed to surly (which indicates displeasure and a bad attitude).
Sorry, but if I didn't point it out, surely someone else would! LOL

Jim, what is this "paypay" you speak of???

:grin::grin:(Sorry... couldn't resist. And if I didn't do it, someone else surly would have):grin::grin:

Also FYI to people nervous about PayPal:

In most cases, you can checkout with a card without creating a PP acct or attaching your bank / cards to it. Most 'horror stories' are from merchants who have their PP acct locked-down because of a bad transaction with a customer. I've been using PP for over 7yrs I think. I had it locked down only once, as a merchant.

I think it's about as risky as giving your card to a waiter.

Thanks for taking my check. :) Watched the DVD...It was fun, enjoyed by both my wife & I. Is Ness from Istanbul? We have friends who live there...In her interview, Ness said Turkey is NOTHING like Iran...very much the truth. May the Turkish style of governing spread throughout the middle east. Attaturk was quite a dude...to drag Turkey kicking & screaming into the 20th century.

Borana

Borana now has DVD's with her, so if you see her and you want a DVD, you can buy it from her. Not only will it give you a reason to talk to her, she can autograph it if you wish. Be sure to leave your name and email with her so I can enter you into the prize drawing.

Johnny, I visit car guy forums...there are many bad tales about paypal...

I've thought of getting a card with a low limit just for paypal, but the bank I use wants an annual fee for such a card...a card I'd use not all that often. My regular card has no annual fee...since I pay in full every month, interest charged means zilch to me.
Is your bank the only one in town? All banks offer the same services but the way they offer those services vary tremendously. One bank (yours) might charge a fee for such a card but there are plenty of other banks that don't. Banks compete for customers like any other business does.
