I think you have nailed it Tommy.

I use the Unique Quite Router for inlays, the Kress router for shaping and cutting shafts on the CueMonster.
On the Taper/Shaper machine it is the Ryobi Router for all the butt tapering and V grove cutting.

Precision, horsepower, and high RPM dont seem to come in the same package.
Using the 6 tooth cutting blade for tapering butts and shafts you dont need 30,000 rpm.
