Bowling alley wood

i know a place where i can buy some bowling alley wood from lanes that were removed. what's the going rate for that wood if i were to cut it into squares for shafts?

Make sure you're getting maple. Typically the entire alley is largely made of pine. I'd be an interested buyer at the right price.

My best buddy manages a bowling alley in Missourri. He sent me a couple bundles of wood they used to replace the floors about 20 years ago. This wood was never used and was left over, 20+ years ago. I opened the first bundle and turned them round and found that not one of them would go on one of my cues, not even break cues. The run out was terrible. The boards were cut for lanes, not cues. I hope you have better luck.
