Koop, Don't let this go to your head , but GREAT idea. Thursday is the perfect night for me.

Nah, I have too many people who keep me in check buddy

But I do think it would be great.

Sigh..... Thursdays are always bad for me. But, maybe. What's the tournament like on Thursday? What time?

BTW, you guys need to check this thread: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=109157
Fred,
I've never played in, but people who have tell me the talent is pretty sporty. A couple of people who play on the Joss Tour I believe. See the post above, it starts at 7:00 with free table time starting at 6:00.
Hookup with Jim and come along.
Steve.

i believe some of the tournament regulars will be at turning stone this week. fred, it would be great to have you come on thursday.

Ok dammit, I finally get some tickets to the Sox game and see what I miss :frown:

Mark, it was great to meet you buddy and sorry I won't be able to make it.

To everyone else: We should try to do this maybe once a month. It sounds like we can get a good group and maybe start up our own mini-Az tournaments? Nothing crazy, keep it fun, but something to make it worth while. I don't mind donating.

I'd say I would play in the regular tourament but I highly doubt I could get there in time.

Just a thought and wish I could join you guys.

Regards,
Koop
That's a shame, Koop....although I'm not 100% sure I can make it now, either. I'd love to...but I got a couple things in the works right now, and Thursday night might not be possible, anymore.

If there's any way I can go...even for just a few minutes to do the "grip and grin" with all the AZB types...I sure will. Won't know, for sure, until that day, though.

BUMP IT UP!!!

I will be there tonight...and looking forward to seeing the "regulars" again...and meeting a few more AZB types.

How about we try to use this thread and get a solid "head count" of those coming out to CC USA.

So far...I know that guy, joe_c, and I will be there. Who else is a definite???

I don't think I will be there. My wife has some sort of Java conference tonight (maybe that's her code for a date), so I have to watch our daughter.

She said she should be home around 9. If she's home by then, maybe I'll drive up. If she's not home before 10, I won't bother.

I can't make it. I actually can, but I'd have to blow off other people. So, if you guys try to make it a regular thing, I'll be sure to come up to future ones. Maybe I'll carpool with Rodney.

Damn geeks.:) Java isn't a language anyway, c++ is a language.

Steve. <== Programming for 30++ years, no more conferences for me.

Not looking good for me. I just got off the phone with my wife and asked what time her meeting was over and she said she thinks 8:30. It's 45 minutes to an hour from here and it's 30-40 minutes for me to get to Chelmsford. She'll be in Burlington. Maybe I'll send her.

I'm a definate, I'll make it a pit stop on my way to the beach! I should be there by 7.

Fred, we can definately work something out on carpooling.

Damn you actually got a picture of me smiling.

Thanks again for the great time, the generosity of Country Club USA, and us late stragglers owe those who left before us a beer or two.

Well, the Sox game was fun but I wish I could have made it. Although you'd have one more ugly mug in that picture :D

Let's seriously try to do this once a month. I'll be there for the next one.

Koop

It was fun, Koop...a shame you missed it. I was expecting to see your buddy Paul out there last night, too. Guess you Sox fans travel in packs, huh??? Hey...at least you missed it for a winning game.

I had a blast....and you just can't beat the deal they gave us on the tables. Some food, solid play, and a lot of laughs (my Jimmy Superfly break being one of the focal points....I swear, I don't usually send the CB flying 4 feet off the table...much less that many times in one night!!!).

Thanks to all that made it out. I had a great time, and it was a real pleasure to see/meet some great AZB guys.

Rodney - any time you want some pointers, just let me know!! :D :D
