Snookerd said:I most definatly will CBC.. this event has brought the likes of alot of top players, SVB's breakout year he was there, Cole Dixon, Stan Tourangeau , Edwin Montal, Tyler Edey, and many more that deserve mention... I will see if i can get some updates from a pda or something, but man I tell you.. this is ALWAYS a great tournament, not the best equipment .. but you cant complain when people show up and top names in calcutta go for over 1k...

Snookerd said:Well it was a decent turnout, Still not sure who won yesterday but there were a few names in the final 16, I was one match out of the sunday redraw to get to final 16, and I hate to say it ... but those GD DMN corked cue balls got me 3 games straight to give up my last match. Top names that were there included of course local favorite Jeff Boucher, Stan Tourangeau, Ace Brown, Damian Pongpanik, another local from MT Dan Hamper. I tell you what though.. even though I was out of the tournament , I sure did enjoy myself there. Except when the cueballs were rolling off......

Snookerd said:Yeah, I watched a few matches before I had to head home ( because my friends wanted to get back), But I would have liked to stay. But was watching Hamper and the others play. He made a spectaculer long rail kick at a ball to drill it AND get a breakout and shape on the 8 for the set... it had to be a 20% chance at most to make the shot. Stan And Ace were put out early.. both getting HORRIBLE rolls from the cue ball. Although the TD was nice enough to advise everyone that they can bring their own Cue Balls next year........ was run fine, on time, didnt take forever.. but man, the cue balls are horrendous, I guess they get stolen too often to leave aramiths, or any other "good" cueballs on the tables because of the theft. I am sure everyone here has played with the corked cue ball or the blue dot balls...
Snookerd said:Looks like local Jeff boucher took down the tournament with a 2nd to Jeff Clark from SLC who runs E.O.s billiards in kearns ut
Snookerd said:I think damian took 3rd and mike kushman? took 4th.. but im not sure ..
Jeff Clark played EXTREMELY well to get to the hill match with boucher... Probably his new De Cots shooting specs..![]()
