About Barry Behrman
I onced asked Barry if I could play in the Open and use part of the $ that his son owed me as an entry, he refused and later I posted a thread on this web site that said "I thought he would have been wise to take my offer." Now this sounds like an arrogent statement I made, I would like the people on this forum to know that that was not my intention. The reason it would have been wise was for the sake of getting along and I believe that is what it's all about, together we stand however divided we do indeed fall. Now I do not ask for any special treatment but something could have been worked out where I could have played in the Open. I would have asked Brady but he and his wife would not return my calls, now where does this leave me? I know myself and I am good at blocking out distractions but when one of the main promoters of the event ( Brady Behrman) owes me $ I would not have been able to play seeing him there and me needing the $. When I made this request I think that he was getting along with his son, Barry said " I don't care if you play or not." What I have learned from the Behrmans is it's all about them and their precious U.S. Open, I wish that either Brady or his father would have seen my dilemma and been insturemental in helping me get paid but these are people who would rather be divided. So I do not feel that I was out of line going to Berry and pleading my case in a nice way, I don't believe that I will lose any sleep by not competing at the Open as there are plenty of tournament's for me to enter besides this. I am looking forward to this eight ball tour and lets keep our fingers crossed that this promoter works with the players instead of treating them poorly.
