I believe that's called "Dymonwood" by the Rutland Plywood Corp.

I just used the discription that i got from the cue maker i realy dont think its any kind of Plywood .

carried by Atlas Billiards, I believe Hills Cues uses it for joint protectors they make.

"does anyone know where I can find pheno impregnated compressed wood products? Phenowood, diamondwood, rockwood, pakkawood, ebonal are some other names for this product"

Dymonwood is Rutland's name for their product, above are other names for the same wood product taken off the web

Thanks for the info and rep points to you sir. Does this mean the cue is not good ? I have never tried it but it looks real nice with a nice fit and finish. I have a kingwood playing cue from J&D Customs and it plays very well. Anyway thanks again sir.

Diamond wood must be a good product, James White has made Butt sleeves for his cues from it. It is beautiful to behold and more dense than traditional woods

I can't remember using dymonwood in a cue before. Maybe it was "Wildwood" you were thinking of? That's some pretty stuff, although it needs cored in my opinion to be of any use for a forearm.

Thanks again bro. this is a good price on a nice break cue . If i cant get $250 out of it i will just put it back in a case till the market picks up.
I know the market is slow but im not going to lose money on these cues I think it might be better to just put them up till oct. or so hopefully the market will pick up abit.

Thanks Larry
