Received directly from Laurie, my new toys, one dated 08-34X, brand new unchalked; the other is all original Jerry era cue comes with 3 original shafts featuring micarta ferrules, pristine condition with LOA, enjoy the pix :thumbup:

That ebony on ebony with the blue veneers has got to be the most beautiful SouthWest I've ever seen. Don't get my wrong, Monto, I really like yours and I think mine is the bees knees, but this one is bad to the bone.

I almost, and honestly: ALMOST had a heart-attack when I saw those two laying there...... I told my girlfriend: "give me a sec, I'll check what's new at the AZ forum..." Well, I guess she'll never let me log in here ever again after these some 10 minutes I spent here staring at the pictures...! :( Those are i.n.c.r.e.d.i.b.l.e.:eek:

Personally, I prefer the extra ring work above and below the wrap, but with that said, I think that one with the blue veneers is prefect just the way it is. The other one, yeah, I'd prefer the rings on it, but that blue one, WOW! The extra rings might be a touch of overkill on that particular cue. It sure is sweet!

a little update, Yang Ching-shun, one of the top pro player from Taiwan has just picked up the blue veneer one as his new play cue :thumbup:
