What a freakin' shame. I watched this cue the last time it was posted....and saw the deal that you had made....and did well.

I'm sorry to hear that the guy flaked on you...if he was even serious at all about it.

That Gina is just flat AWESOME...and deserves a good home.

Best of luck sir. You deserve it, after that fiasco.

Dead BEAT Buyer is a bummer, may I ask what course e-bay takes in the case of a Dead Beat who stiffed you out of over 1500 BUCKS.

Do you have to pay fees to e-bay, or do they eat it. I ask this question as I have never sold stuff on e-bay, just bought a few items.

Does the Dead Beat get booted off e-bay?

It really SUCKS when fleabay bidders flake out. Sorry. I wish I had a way to buy this cue. Love it!!!
Hope you get more out of it this time.
John

I am really sorry to hear that.
Was hoping that the cue found a good home.

Good luck...

I hope so. I did file a "Non-paying bidder" report. Hopefully that will do something. I may at least get the final auction fee reversed. It kind of sucks that the deadbeat bidder left ME negative feedback, too!

The sad thing is that this guys is bidding on a bunch of hight end items and not even responding to the emails. Hopefully he will get booted soon.

All I can do is wait and see what the cue will do this time. Hopefully I will at least get paid on it whatever the high bid is!

I've got one negative feedback on my ebay record from an ass**** that I bought an extra cell phone battery from. I hit the buy it now on his auction and paid with paypal and never received my battery. I waited almost the maximum 90 days with no response and I left him a negative feedback for not sending my battery and within 30 minutes of me leaving him the negative feedback he left me a negative and called me a "scammer". I couldn't believe it and there's nothing I can do about it. I hope you can at least get your ebay fees back, but I don't know how you can get the negative feedback off of your record. GOOD LUCK!

I saw the previous auction (after it ended), and noticed that the guy now has a (-2) feedback rating. I would hope that, from this point on, anybody selling something that sees him as a bidder will just cancel it on the spot.

Most would, I would think. A negative overall rating would cause my pucker-factor to skyrocket.

Again, best of luck on the sale. That's a really sharp looking cue.

I just realized.....his user name is "dnttsnd".........wonder if that stands for "Don't Send" ???????? :) It does, now!

I call that an underhanded slap in the face....

Sounds like somebody shill bidding up prices.

SCCues;

I had the same expience with a former member on this board and ebay deadbeat on a Skip cue, Michael Wold from Arizona/San Diego. That sucks, after you pay immediately and don't receive your item, the dummy can still give negative feedback.

Very nice entry level Gina. Case is worth $240.00 on top of the cue value. Can't get a better investment/playing cue for the price. IMHO, the SS is Ernie's best playing joint.

Good Luck Dakota.

Thanks Deadon. I really like Ernie's cues. I have another one with a steel joint that may be my new playing cue... when I finally get to play again!

You have to go through a process to get the money back. I've had to do that a few times (which sucks) but I would rather them be a deadbeat, than to pay with paypal, and then file a dispute. I've had that happen and it turns into a huge headache. I used to use Ebay a lot, but now there are so many scams I get tired of try to rule out the good and the bad!!!!!

Do the process, and maybe the DEADBEAT will get the BOOT off e-bay.;)

I'm working on the dispute process right now. I've got it filed, and my response is in, but we haven't heard back from the deadbeat yet (what a surprise!).

Any idea on how long this takes if this person doesn't respond?

Thanks!

I didn't even know you could have negative feedback...I think I would demand that the negative feedback be removed...as far as other things like getting fees back the dispute console might have some info to help...Sweet cue...wish I didn't have all my loose cash tied up in wood and cue parts...
