hueblers
Cracks in the finish have nothing to do with a cue being damaged. I mean, it has never been used. If a cue were damaged, and repaired, it would have to have been refinished, and thus there would be no cracks. I have seen several, several, of hueblers cues that have this same finish issue, on the shaft and sometimes the butt. Not sure what causes it. It may just have been an overly humid or dry day when they applied the finish at Huebler factory, or some other variable? Anyway, I would be more than happy for anyone to inspect the cue. In fact, if you bought it and weren't completely satified, I'd even pay for the return shipping. This cue is very very nice.
In regards to the number of cues produced. This is #8 of 10 cues of the this design. There were four (or was it five?) different designs.
Thank you for the comments. Please get in touch if your interested, or have any questions. I would be happy to speak to you.
thanks,
Jamie
