Hello everyone,

I have three cues on sale that are designed by me and made by Tacio Bautista, one of the two apprentices of the late and legendary Filipino cuemaker - Edwin Reyes. Cues are for sale and also open to be traded for some exotic woods of the same worth.

All cues have low deflection shafts, which is closely comparable to that of Predator's 314-2 based on my experience with them.

Details are as follows:

Cue # 1
Total length: 58 inches
Total weight: approx. 18.4 oz
Forearm and buttsleeve: Highly figured Mexican Cocobolo
Points: 8 high ebony points on both forearm and buttsleeve with ebony/cocobolo/ebony veneers.
Handle: shiny leatherette wrap
Ring works: ABCDE
Tip: Milk duds
Taper: approx. 13 mm
Pin: SS radial
Shaft: Low deflect

This cue has a great feel to it, especially for wrapped users. The finish is very nice. Cue is cored with Ph Goncalo Alves. Never been hit and never been chalked.

Cue # 2 (SOLD)
Total length: 58 inches
Total weight: approx. 19.1 oz
Forearm and buttsleeve: Ebony
Points: 6 Amboyna points (3 high and 3 low) on both forearm and buttsleeve
Handle: highly figured Curly Mango, stained to a golden brown
Ring works: ABCDE
Tip: Moori M
Taper: approx. 12.94 mm
Pin: SS radial
Shaft: Low deflect

This cue is unique because of it's one-of-a-kind handle. The finish and color combination is superb. Never been hit and never been chalked as well.

How many Bautistas are there? Are they all related? They certainly all seem to have a knack for making very pretty cue sticks...

Seriously, I'm curious.

Hi Swest,

Some Bautistas in the cue making business in the Philippines are: Al, Tony, Tacio -- they're siblings. Roy is their cousin. Bebot is also another Bautista cue maker, but unrelated to them.

I hope this helps, and thanks for admiring our country's made cues.

Bump to top for Cue #1, still available. Price drop to $325 shipped.
