Various makers use them for balancing purposes but i don't know of one who uses them exclusively.What cue makers are known for using a brass pin ( eg Troy Downey) , also any production line cues ??
I've never seen a brass-jointed American cue. You'd usually only find them in snooker and English pool cues nowadays.
