Sold by National Billiard Mfg. in Cincinnati, OH. Bought in the 50's by the original owner. Brazillian Rosewood full splice with original oil finish. Very straight and structurally sound. National bought alot of their house cues from Brunswick. It has all of the same characteristics of a Brunswick of those days without the BBC label. Burned/Stamped 19 between the points. Splice is clean and points are very sharp. $40 shipped to US.

How do you know it's Brazillian rosewood? B rosewood has a terrible characteristic, in that it warps, cracks, splits more than about any other wood. Also, the thicker the piece, the worse this tendency.

So what is your point??? Are you interested in the cue? I didnt think so. I'll jut call it wood if it makes you feel better.

***EDIT***

I have a wood house cue for sale. It sure looks like Brazillian Rosewood but I didnt plant the seed so don't take my word for it. The cue is over 50 years old and has no signs of structural damage. The wood has very straight grain which should keep the wood somewhat stable. After 50 years I think it should be somewhat cured by now.

stick to pool cues. :D let professionals handle plumbing!!! i'd traded ya some pro plumbing for a "wood" cue

PS, PM me pls.
Measure the thickness 24" and 29" from the BOTTOM and lemme know.
Pics at those point would be appreciated.
With better pics I can guess if it's mahogany or Braz rosewood.
thnx

How do you know it's a pool cue? Maybe it's a fancy way to pass the vitals in the pot. Ya know like Jed Clampett... :D

Joey, will do... I have to measure when I get home.

Its really dark... I havent seen any mahogany this dark. When I first spotted it in the cue rack I thought it was ebony. Don't tell sphinx but I'm pretty sure its Brazilian Rosewood.
