Break Cue Tip Diameter

Hello guys, I'm just wondering what break cue tip size you all use. I currently have a plain old J&J breaker that has a tip size of around 13.5mm. I'm actually trying to buy a new/used break cue and have run across alot of different tip sizes from 12.5mm-14mm. Any advantage/disadvantage you all notice? I guess I'm not a big fan of my current break cue size and am looking for something different. Thanks for the replies.

On a side note does anyone know what tip size the Orange Crusher's came with?

It shod be about what you are comfortable with. For me, I prefer a 14mm or so ferrule with a super short billiard type taper. Some people want to "whip" so they use a long taper. I know that before I switched to the large diameter, I was using a 12.75mm Predator BK1 because it was very similar to my playing cue.

On the j&j you have, I 've had good luck with those if you change the tip/ferrule out to a 1 piece combo that is threaded on. I've sold close to 100 of those cues and almost all of them had the ferrule break loose after awhile because it's not threaded.
