break cue tip life expectancy

If a cue gets knocked over I could understand an issue at or near the joint with some cracking.
I am not sure about how this would affect the tip/ferrule.
I think there is much more force and stress put on the tip area on a miscue.
But, what do I know :)

I agree with everyone here.
It does not look like an issue with the tip or even the glue for that matter.
The gunk that came out of the middle of the shaft is interesting.

The again 2 years is a long time for all the sudden to have a problem.

OB cues are stand up people. Royce is awesome.

If anything, this gives OB some feedback on their product and will probably help them help to build even better cues in the future.
 
I have a white diamond that has been on my cue for 6yr now and it looks exactly the same as the day it was new.

I don't think it will ever need to be replaced
