So I'm just curious what size people prefer their break cue tip to be. If you are feeling froggy enough, you can say what weight and brand if you want.

Tip Size = 13mm,,, Cue Weight = 21oz,,,,, Brand = N/a,,, Cue material = Fiberglass

I Love my Break Cues I Bought 3 of them for 18 Dollars a Piece 3 years ago from iszybilliards and i Break Awesome with them,,, when i need to Re tip one I'm gonna buy a Samsara break tip to see what all the hype is about because i hear nothing but good things about there Break Cues and tips hope this helps you and on a side note the less money you spend on your break cue = more money spent on your playing cue

Hehehe I already have one custom player.

I'm currently trying out the Joss Thor Hammer. It crushes the rack but feels weird. I may put the samsara tip on it. I've had 2 other breakers with the samsara tip. Amazing!!!!

you say it feels weird?? could you elaborate on that a little more? Thors Hammer i think the name is Cool,,, yeah im just waiting for one of my Breakers to need a new Tip and im gonna deff throw a samsara on it

The joss layered tip feels odd. You almost don't feel the hit. Works great for just smashing but not so much for a more controlled break.

OK i understand now and i Appreciate you Sharing your experience with me because i like to know as much as i can about cues and Joss is one of my Favorite Cues

I believe the rules state that 14mm is largest diameter that can be used. I definitely like the Samsara tips.

I prefer a 13.5 mm on a stiffer shaft with a short ferrule & a Break Cue taper.

Weight is a personal thing, fancy cues are a personal thing.

A great break cue tip (with a modified crown), short ferrule, stiff shaft, & good balance are my basic requirements from the git-go.

Mezz PowerBreak Pro, 18.5 ozs, 13.25mm. Not positive about tip composition, but think its either G10 or phenolic, probally G10.

I have a Players break cue with a 14mm Sarmarsa tip and an OB Break with a 13mm Samarsa.

The Players hits harder, gets more spread but the OB feels more comfortable, so it feels more in control.

Summit classic with Purple Heart shaft and 13mm samsara tip. It weighs 20oz and is heavier than I was used to. Destroys the rack though

Oldish first edition predator butt with a no name shaft (12,20) weighs in at 18,5oz. Samsara is a very nice tip, taken down almost 2/3.

12.8mm G-10 tip and ferrule combo....excellent cue ball control for me.
Lyptus Shaft
18 oz. Same as player.

Usually break with my playing cue. But I have a gulassay anvil jump/break in the case if.needed. sub 19oz 12.8mm with his ferrule and tip combo. Breaks pretty sporty.
