Break Cue

Add $298.98 to your $0.02 and get a sledgehammer. If you don't find a difference (which you will), you'll have no problem selling it and going about your merry way. There really is a difference.

I don't know if it was a sledgehammer, but I broke with a friends cue one night, and they had a plasticlike tip. Didn't get the whole lowdown on it, but it did break nicely!!

I paid $300 for my sledgehammer and it is very nice. Two weeks ago at Mr. Cue's II, I saw one there for about $270.
trufil I also play at Mr Cues may i ask your name?

tornado break cue

I think the best break stick out there is the tornado jump/break stick. If you haven't used one of these you are missing out. It is the best break stick i have ever used. It breaks the balls so hard and you have so much control on the break. I am selling them if anyone is interested. These are half as much as the sledgehammer and predator break sticks. Only $160 with shipping. if anyone is interested email me at jfarris182@hotmail.com. It is definitly worth the money

Sounds like a totally unbiased, truthful, selfless claim to me. ;)

Rick Howard's Mace Jump/Break

Any comments on Rick Howard's "The Mace"?

I love Rick Howard's Mace j/b. Best break cue period. I dont even have to use full force and it breaks very well. Highly recommend. You can get them for $350.

I've broken with:
1. My playing cue, didn't like the mushrooming
2. A Dufferin Phantom with a hard tip, did a very good job
3. A "Tornado" jump / break cue from ebay. Broke okay, but I ultimately split the forearm on a break. It really did "break".
4. The "Sledgehammer", this is what I currently use and it breaks and jumps great with less effort than my other cues.

At VF I tried an Omen jump / break. If I could have sold my Sledgehammer on the spot for enough, I would have done it and bought the Omen. Even though the tip was phenolic I seemed to have more cueball control than with the Sledgehammer. The Sledgehammer is fine though.
Another nice thing about the Sledgehammer is it jumps like a son of a gun even without breaking down the butt (which you can't do in the APA).

You CAN'T be serious and are maybe trying to scam here. First of all I picked up a Tornado on ebay for $70.00 not $160.00. Secondly, though it broke nicely, after about my 10th break I used it for, the forearm split at the joint. That is dispite the fact that I'm not a real hard breaker.

re: care of Sledgehammer phenolic tip...I just got an email back from Mike Gulyassy who says: DO NOT use a tip-pik, otherwise shape/scuff/chalk just like any other tip. :p
