Break jump tip recommendation

Taom. Has alot of power, but affords quite a good grip. Ive watched mika run countless racks with his break cue with a taom tip.

I just switched to a Samsara break jump tip from a phenolic one and I have been super happy with it. It is hard enough to crack the ball but still gives you the control and feel of leather. I have not used it much for jumping, but the few test shots I did seemed to be no different than the phenolic tip.

Taom!
Mezz Trans tip jumps slightly better, but you loose some of the grip Taom gives you.
I`m not a huge fan of Samsara tips any more, because of their tendency to pop off.

Taom is the way to go

I recently tried a handfull of different tips jor both jumping and breaking and to me Taom is the best all around tip and by far the best break tip. SPC jumps well but I wouldnt exactly praise its breaking capabilities :frown:

Odega Tips are a favorite. A leather tip impregnated with phenolic. Hard, consistent, hold chalk well.

I've got a white diamond on my break cue, and really like it. Can jump with a full cue, and at least at 9 ball I get some very good breaks.
