Many years ago I built myself a purpleheart break shaft. I see some dedicated carbon fiber shafts now. How do they compare against each other

One hits balls in the direction the cue is moving. The other also hits balls in the direction the cue is moving.

Personally, I hate the feel of a plastic shaft. I don't even like anything but grain sealer on my shafts.

I hope the OP found someone to build them a shaft, and got a good laugh at the childish behavior of our keyboard warrior responses.
I have some purpleheart shaft blanks, and would be happy to help if @manopr350 hasn't found anyone yet.
