Break shot

Just like the Miz say's...practice, practice, practice. Seriously though, why are you concerned about making the 8-ball on the break? You don't win the game as it has to spot up. For best breaking results try this. Put the cue ball on the break line about one ball width from center on either side. Concentrate on hitting the apex ball as full as possible with the cue ball. Sacrifice speed for control and hit the cue ball slightly above center for stopping action. If you make something the table is open and then just look for trouble areas and plan on where you will make the 8-ball and the ball before it. Hope this helps.:)
Clearly a rank amature here...... I bet he doesnt even own a set of finger extensions.......

I now know what the problem was.

I was playing on the second tier and needed to start from the top.

Seeing that it is drtoy I think the jig is up and DrCue'sprotege should just admit that he has been playing on one of these and that is why his layouts are so tough. You not only have to make the ball but you have to remember to go to the next level down to play more.
