Break tip ban

i've had my WD at least 6yrs and have had no issue(s) in those areas. i keep it lightly scuffed and about a nickel shape, maybe a lil less.
Yes Sir
That's awesome
But
It's not everyones opinion so options can be offered.

If phenolic and other synthetic tips were banned. Chances are they might be allowed with the leather center.

I've been doing some testing (albeit just my own and some customers) on various break tips. We've played with Phenolic's, Samsara, Ultraskin HH, Bulletproof, and White Diamonds. The majority were settling in on the White Diamond or Bulletproof tips. I myself was liking the Bulletproof a lot.

That is until the Kamui SAI Control Break tip was introduced. I've put it on about 8 cues now, 2 for me and 6 for customers, and the feedback is unanimous. Everyone seems to love these. The sound and feel is like a layered tip but the hit is like a super hard breaker. Control is excellent.

Granted, it has only been a few weeks so time will tell, but at this point, at least for my circle of friends, the new Kamui is pretty great.

I know, for me, the Bulletproof is an excellent break tip, but completely SUCKS as a jump tip. Disclosure.... I have the full one piece ferrule/tip on a break/ jump cue.

How is the SAI working out as a break /jump tip?

I'm a big fan, it's pretty much all I install now. I still stock most all of the others but the feedback I'm getting on the SAI is great. I'm very happy with how it performs for me but understand that other folks may have different breaking styles than I do and have different experiences as a result.

i wish more rooms had a dedicated nine ball table or tables, that they only filled up when all the other tables were taken.

and its own balls. so they can ruin it with lines in the cloth from the cueball travel and nicks in the cloth from breaks and jumps.

as well as a few tables that the bangers get first. this way those that dont care about the equipment have something to play on and those that do also have something. instead of all the tables in a room being substandard from abusive play.

Where would the Taom and Kamui SAI and white Dia. compare in the mix of break jump tips?
Just had the Kamui SAI installed, replaced a Samsara that came off, It is a hard hit but not as hard as the Samsara, I like it a lot , I trust this tip more and I am adding more power and speed to my break so the results are better than when first installed, I don't use my break cue as a jump cue so I can't comment on it as a jump tip.

The one huge plus of having a control break Kamui tip is that if you are playing in events that don’t allow jump cues this is your tip!! It allows you to get a great jump shot with control!!!
