There isn't anything that compares to the breakrak.
I don't recall pricing, but it is a once in a lifetime purchase. Spread that cost out over it's useable life and the cost really isn't unreasonable, imo.

OP:
One thing you could do is glue a rack of old unusable balls together and lay those on table and hit em over and over.
The person I knew that did that, used a table that was for breaking, jumping, trick shots etc...etc
Not sure how it would effect felt in the long run.
One could put an extra piece of felt between the glued rack and table.

Well for one, you can save $170 by not getting the radar, and using the Predator Break Speed app on your smart phone.... $5 bucks. They claim it is as accurate as a radar gun. I have seen no reason to doubt that claim.
I can't believe they want $80 for the radar bridge. It's just 2x4's. That's nuts

You know, when I worked for a company with a US HQ in Santa Clara, I was there a lot, and amazed at how many "hourly workers" were hanging around Home Depot when I passed on my way to the office in the morning. Here in Massachusetts it's unheard of. It would be nice to be able to tap a local, immediately available, low-skilled labor force. But it would go against my conservative, legal, and moral principles. But I digress; sorry for the non-pool related comment.
So, I was thinking. How about a fiberglass rod, like a driveway marker those in snowy climes are familiar with, mounted rigidly to the ceiling, and terminated below with a one-ball, resting gently on the table? Might have to add the mass of a full rack of balls to it, bit methinks it would work.
I'd be glad to send anyone, the plans to make that Bridge. First off, I have to drive 50 miles (round trip) to Lowe's. Buy (3) 6 foot 1 x 4s. Get some stain to match, someone's table or another color of paint.
Then I cut it up, glue it up, sand it, stain it, clear coat it, drill some holes & put it together. The I have to purchase a special box, to ship it in, to who know's where. If I make $30-$35 for 3-4 hours work, I'd be real lucky. I only sell this tool, as a help-mate to my customers. That's why I'd rather send anyone the plans.
I can build "x" product and have $1,000 in it but, that doesn't mean it will be worth it to "you".
I like your product but, I can see where it wouldn't be a smart purchase for "some".
