Is anyone familiar with Dale Brelands work. He has a couple of cues I may be interested in but I have never heard of him, does anyone else have any input? Appreciate any advice. Thx
I can speak from a lot of experience that dale is a great guy who builds rock solid cues. Back 2002-2004 he apprenticed me from my junior year of high school till I left from the army. He was a great guy and very particular about what he puts on the market. I remember him breaking cues in half just because they played well but the hit didn't sound right. I have a jump cue still that was made out of the forearm of a break cue he wasn't happy with and snapped. I still play with a sneaky Pete to this day as my main cue that is the first one he helped me build. It is a plain jane bar cue copy with no joint rings and hasn't warped or even thought about cracking at the shaft joint.
I can absolutely guarantee that any cue he puts out or repair he does is a top notch, great playing cue. This is his business but it's also a labor of love for him.
