I just wanted to give a shout out to our very own Stix4sale (Brent Hartman Cues). I've had the opportunity to play with a couple of his cues and must say that I am very impressed. Everything from the workmanship to finish are top notch. They also hit great. In my opinion, they will hold their own against other more well known cue builder's cues. I will also quote my wife, "they even look better in person than they do on the internet". So, if you are looking for a very nice stick at a very reasonable price, give him a try. Don't let the fact that he is not that well know yet fool you. If you do, you may very well end up spending a lot more on one of his cues down the road.

I will second this endorsement for Brent. I bought the Valley Supreme purpleheart conversion he made. He used a huge radial pin, and the cue comes across with a real nice hit. I have let a few other folks hit with it at the pool hall, and all of them have liked the hit. I was particularly fond of the taper he used, which is more of a thinner butt than a lot of cues. This particular cue has some real sweet curly purpleheart in it, also.

Ill third the opinion. :)
Brent makes a great cue for a unbelievable price. The finish he uses also is so glossy it makes you wonder why every cue doesn't look like that.

Not bad for a plumber!:D

former plumber :D too old for that stuff anymore.
besides, the clearcoat fumes are better than the pvc glue fumes

Excellent Stuff

Brent makes an EXCELLENT playing cue too!

He is a very easy fellow to work with on a cue. I only wished he lived closer  so I could go down and visit his shop and learn a few things and see what else he has in the works ;)

I am in the process of getting a cue from Brent, I must say that he is very quick to respond to all of my questions and the price that he gave me is more than reasonable.
thanks Brent!

HEY BRENT....

When you get a chance start a new thread and post pics of the cue you donated to shirleys auction......I know you arent quite finished yet but, from what I have seen it is a gorgeous cue and others here would prolly enjoy it as well.

Hey, Brent - Nice to see all these compliments coming in for you! I may have to break down and get you to make me a cue before your prices get too high.

Brent ....

Just a thought, but a red Heart with a black Q in the middle would make a neat logo for your cues.

I use to play golf with a guy that was red/green colorblind. He'd take my money playing, but I always got back at him by giving him red tees. He'd hit his drive then I got to laugh while he tried to find his red tee in the green grass. :D
