As promised, here are the results. Thank you all for participating. With more than 100 respondents this represents a fairly decent sample size.

I was wondering where the billiard community felt about a few issues. To get things going I would appreciate it if you took a brief survey. No personal information is needed, and no email address is required. Just looking for honest answers, please only fill it out once.

After I have received a reasonable number of responses I will go ahead and post the results for all to see.

Thank you in advance, and if there are any questions you would like to see on a survey let me know, and I'll possibly add it to the next one.

No scam here, no BS, just looking for info.

Here's the link:

Just adding a bump to the survey.

Please take a minute an fill out the survey. No need to leave any reply here. I'll post the results tonight for all to see (Saturday 3/20/21).

Why are you so concerned about capturing the information on survey monkey? What is the point of the survey?

SurveyMonkey provides the tools for creators to configure their surveys how they want. This includes allowing them to collect strictly anonymous responses, or to choose to identify their respondents. ... We also offer the option for surveys to collect respondent IP addresses.

It's not that complicated or sinister. I make pool cues as a hobby, and wanted to find out what was most in demand. That is all.

As far as posting the results, it is just FYI. If you also make pool cues, perhaps, you would also find this information useful. Most cue makers with more experience than I would know this stuff in their gut, but probably didn't have it quantified.

Don't overthink this.

Why not start there? You're offended I asked for clarification as you request people go to a site that capture users data on your 1st post here? I don't believe you as anyone who "makes cues" should know tip preference is customizable as is everything else you asked about.

You’re the one overthinking this shit. Just make a cue you would like and then go from there. It ain’t rocket science.

IMO, people that would purchase from an unknown hobbiest would likely be happy at 19 oz. adjustable with linen or no wrap.
