Bring back the Sardo rack

I got to go to the Open for the first time, and one thing that irratated me was the request for re-racks. Bring back the Sardo rack!

It was loser rack while winner hovers above and expresses displeasure. Ref's were regularly asked to step in and rack. One match with Mike DeShaine and ?, they tried for perhaps 20 minutes to get a satisfactory rack. The ref came over and tried, even pounding balls down. No go. they stopped the match until they could get to an open table. Which took quite a while. Brand new Diamonds, racks and balls... I don't get it.

it was mike and shannon, they had no choiuce because the balls were tapped in bad and the table just wouldnt rack right. The sardo rack wouldnt have helped at all.

with whats known these days about rack you own 9 ball, its not even a game anymore for some guys, its just who racks the best and knows the most, so with 9ball it has to be loser raks or refree raking but thats alot of ref's in the first couple days of the tournment. this is why 10 ball is the future(even though I really dont like 10ball as much)

Mike and Shannon strike me as two of the most decent gentlemen in the game. Now if this match that was stopped was between <insert rack mechanic A, whom u watch his every move> vs Anyone, then you might wonder a bit.

It is a crying shame that racking will eventually be the blight that takes 9 ball off the top of the mountain! :mad:

Sounds like Earl Strickland! I saw him make a guy in a tournament in Lexington Kentucky re-rack 11 times and all the time complaining to anyone listening.
