On the IPT website, there are three links pertaining IPT Qualifier No. 24 under "News and Comments": http://www.internationalpooltour.co...s/NA_open_06/Online_coverage/NA24/default.asp

From Twenty Four Seven London: Qualifying takes place at Riley's Pool Hall in Victoria London, June 23rd – 25th with successful qualifiers being entered into the main draw for the October event to compete for a share of the $1,270,000 prize fund and a first place prize of $200,000!

From Skysports: The International Pool Tour (IPT) is hosting qualifying sessions in London on the weekend of the 23rd of June to find two players for the UK leg of the tour - The IPT 8-Ball Players Championship to be held at London’s Excel Centre in October.

From View London: Qualifying rounds take place at Riley’s Pool Hall in Victoria, London, this June and successful qualifiers will be entered into the main draw for the October event to compete for a share of the $1,270,000 prize fund and a first place prize of $200,000! Qualifying pool players will also get the chance to take on two of the UK’s greatest snooker players Ronnie O’Sullivan and Jimmy White who will be competing in the International Pool Tour Championship.

I had thought that Qualifier No. 24 was for the upcoming IPT tournament in Las Vegas, NV, to be held July 21-30, 2006, at the Venetian.

Jam,I already highlighted this mistake to the concerned people in Uk a couple of days ago,but nothing seems to have been changed in the advertising.

They are of course playing for a place at The Venetian and the final on the winners side is in play right now between Imran Majid and Goran Mladenovic.

I guess half-right publicity is better than no publicity at all, I say! :p

Imran, BTW, just got knocked to the B side by Goran Mladenovic.

Tony Drago advances on the B side of the charts and is playing Antonanell Judet from Britain. The winner of this match plays Imran for the remaining qualifier.

IPT Member Raj Hundal won all four of his challenge table matches! Chaching! :D
