A friend of mine broke a very expensive Judd "Midnight Fire". He wacked the tip on the table and it broke in two diagonally (about 3 inches) from the joint in front of the wrap, across an ivory inlay and points. Greg Sowder of Sowder Custom cues repaired the cue and you can't see where it was broken. Greg replaced a point and ivory inlay added a pin for stability.
Here is the cue before it was broken:

The back points are out of alignment by about 1/10 of inch (if that) and you can't tell it unless you look down the butt end of the cue with you eye right behind the butt.
The cue sold new for 2,750.00 and I traded for it from the original owner and then my friend bought it. The question is:
What is it worth?
I could by it back for 750.00. It now has one shaft that isn't original to the cue but the collar matches the cue.
