Hello,

I have for sale a Brunswick Model 26-1/2 cue - maple front, four rosewood points and butt sleave with four veneers on points and original good condition GOLD cirle with RED field 'Brunswick Balke Collender' decal at the bottom. Circla 1912-1929

The cue was recently converted by Rodger Corsair of 'Corsair Custom Cues'. Roger fitted the cue with an Ivory Joint and the original shaft with an Ivory Ferrule . A new blank 314 shaft and custom white joint protectors are also included.

The cue has a lovley golden shiney Rosewood butt and old dark maple shaft and has a sweet hit.

I am looking for $1250 for the cue ONO

Corsair (Korsiak)

I've got a Ralph Greenleaf cue that was updated and improved by Roger Korsiak. In my opinion he did a very nice job. The cue hits very well and is solidly constructed and tastefully done. JMO of 1 cue but I think Roger enjoys a pretty good overall reputation as a cue maker.

I live near Roger and have given him several of my cues for conversion. This cue in particular hits very well with the original shaft and gets a lot of reaction on the ball and turns a lot of heads.

The Blue Book of cues lists the cue value at $4750 pre conversion. The book also notes the cue was the forerunner to the future Titlist cues.

I am looking at $1250 or nearest offer for an Ivory conversion with a new 314 shaft with joint protectors...

Still looking for an offer on this one..

What's it weigh? Does original shaft roll true? Does the butt?

No worries Ernie,

I will get some other pictures organised tonight.

The cue weighs 18 ounces

The original shaft has a 13mm tip with a very slight bend about 3 inches from the tip - understandable for a cue around 90 years old!. The cue rolls straight when joined together with the butt.

The butt rolls dead straight.

And the cue rolls perfectly straight with the 314 shaft - 12.75mm

The length is 56 inches with the original shaft and 57 inches with the 314 shaft.

I am looking at selling or Trade

Are people interested in cues of this age? - is their a market for them?

Or are people only after older Titlists?

Nice cue

Your cue looks like the conversion was done to be a 3 cushion cue. That is a smaller market here. That would be a great cue to sell in Asia. 3 cushion is big over there.

The cue was converted using traditional joints and materials because I wanted to retain the older style.

The height of cues back then varied from 56inches upwards and had thick butts- so the cue would be perfect also for 3 cushion billiards.
